Sotitobire: I Saw A Strange Woman Feeding Some Children – Witness

The ongoing trial of founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Babatunde Alfa and Six other church members continued on Thursday at the Ondo state high court in Akure.

The sitting began with the cross examination of the 10th witness and 3rd defendant, Margaret Oyebola who is also the church’s Head of Children Department.

The 11th witness and 4th defendant, Grace Ogunjobi while being led in examination in chief by the defence counsel, Olusola Oke said she saw a strange woman feeding some children and expressed her displeasure about it.

She claimed that she got distracted while attending to a child who was vomiting until there was an alarm that a child had been missing.

While being cross examined by a state Counsel, Bola Joel Ogundadegbe, Ogunjobi said she did not know when the strange woman feeding the children left the auditorium because she was busy with other children.

She also agreed that though police men were on ground, she did not report the presence of the strange person to them.

The 12 witness, and 5th defendant, Motunrayo Egunjobi, who is also a children teacher said the person she saw with Gold’s Mother when she dropped him later came to feed him and took him away from the church.

The 13th witness and 6th defendant, Esther Kayode as well as the 14th witness and 7th defendant, Peter Anjorin also gave testimony on the 6th day of defence hearing.

The case is adjourned till next week Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd, 2020.
