An Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure has ordered the state House of Assembly to reinstate the Deputy Speaker of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Iroju Ogundeji and three other lawmakers who were recently suspended.
The trio were suspended over alleged misconducts by the Assembly.
The court reversed their suspension and ordered the house to immediately pay all their entitlements and also pay Five million naira compensation to each of them.

Justice Ademola Bola, while giving the ruling, maintained that it was illegal to prevent an elected legislator from duly representing his/her constituency.
The house had suspended the Four lawmakers for unruly behaviors followong arguments that ensued over the refusal of the lawmakers to sign the impeachment notice served on the deputy governor who defected from All Progressives Congress (APC) in June.
Reacting to the judgement, the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Kola Olawoye, described the judgment as no victor no vanquished.
He urged all members of the House to unite and work for the progress of the state.
Deputy Speaker, Ogundeji Iroju who spoke on behalf of others charged all members of the House to work together and ensure the House operates independently according to the provisions of the constitution.
