It is not yet Uhuru for Femi Fani-Kayode (FFK) as the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Oyo state council has announced the boycott of his visit to Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The Precision NG reports that FFK has been visiting PDP states in recent times to assess the level of development in the states.
During his visit to Cross Rivers state last week, FFK had hauled insult on Eyo Charles, a reporter with Daily Trust after he was asked about the financiers of his statewide visit.
This led to wide condemnation from media bodies such as NUJ, IPC and the reporter’s media outfit Daily Trust.
FFK had since apologized.
But it seems his apologies has not been accepted by the pen pushers as his visit to Ibadan today Monday won’t attract huge media coverage.
Announcing the decision on Fresh FM this morning, the NUJ warned its members against attending FFK’s press conference.
