The immediate past deputy governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Ali Olanusi has reportedly reunited with his boss and former governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, Triangle media reports.
Mimiko and Ali Olanusi were sworn enemies towards the end of the eight years government which spanned from 2009 to 2017 in the state.
The Precision NG reports that Olanusi defected to the APC in 2015 and was impeached by the lawmakers loyal to Mimiko, a decision the court later declared illegal in 2017.

Olanusi was a major force in the defunct Unity Forum of APC which served as a factional group in the Akeredolu’s political camp. The forum had since been collapsed with its candidate, Olusola Oke backing Akeredolu for a re-election in October.
The Precision NG also gathered that there have been attempt by Mimiko’s political camp to form a third force in the coming October 10 guber poll.
Deputy governor Agboola Ajayi is believed to be on his way to Mimiko’s third force political party, Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
