The Chairman of the PDP Sub- Committee on Media & Publicity, Akure south local government, Mr. Henry Ajayi has warned eligible voters in Ondo State not to sell their voter cards for money and two measures of rice.
Mr. Ajayi opined that political stalwarts of a particular party in the state are moving from one household to another across the state to buy voter cards from eligible voters.
In a statement personally signed and made available to The Precision NG today (Thursday) in Akure, the chairman alleged that the COVID-19 palliatives are now being given to some voters in exchange for their voter’s cards.
Ajayi appealed to the people of the state to shun vote buying before and during the election. Likewise, he enjoined them to vote according to their conscience come 10th October, 2020 on the day of governorship election.
