The immediate past chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Clement Faboyede says there is poverty in the state because those managing its affairs are unrighteous people.
Faboyede, who is now the Deputy Director-General, Campaigns of the Eyitayo Jegede Campaign Organization made this revelation at a meeting on Monday at the PDP State secretariat, Alagbaka, Akure where over 82 artisan groups pledged their total support for the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the October 10, 2020, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede SAN.
“There are unrighteous people in the government of Ondo state now and that is the reason the state is witnessing poverty, hunger and disease. The Holy Bible even confirmed it that when the righteous are in authority the people rejoice but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Ondo State people are mourning lack of food and security. Even in August when there should be plenty of rain, there is no rain. That’s to tell you that heaven is not also pleased with them. People can not be protected from the scorching effect of poverty, hunger and insecurity because the people in government are wicked” Faboyede asserted.

The Deputy Director General further reiterated the need for the people to go out enmasse and vote Eyitayo Jegede who he described as a righteous man who honours his words. “In his profession, he has honour to present, in his political career, he has honour to present. That is the man PDP is presenting. Faboyede remarked.
“Those who refuse to vote are enemies of themselves. If you don’t vote, there is likelihood that unrighteous people may wriggle themselves into power and whenever they manipulate themselves into power, the result will be spread of poverty and hardship like the ones we are witnessing in Ondo State now”.
“If you vote for Eyitayo Jegede, Ondo State Micro Credit will be alive again to make funds available for you to run your trade. You will also attend seminars to improve your skills in your chosen trade. A suitable office around Alagbaka govt office will be allocated for you. We will include you in the governance of Ondo state because you are one of the sectors that can move our State forward economically” The Campaign guru posited.
