Community Service: Corps Member Builds Hand Washing Points For Market Women, Renovates Juvenile Home In Ogun

A member of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) and an Economics graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Miss Moyosoluwa Kolawole in a bid to boost the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Ogun State, has constructed hand washing points for market women in Itoku market and also renovated a Hostel Block in the Juvenile Correctional Home, Abeokuta in Ogun state.

Miss Kolawole said the gesture was to support the government and ensure the safety of market women of the state and also bring joy to the faces of the Special Children of the Juvenile Correctional Home. These two projects which were commissioned by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs and Social Development, Honorable Adijat Adeleye-Oladapo commended the corps member for her philanthropic gesture.

The commissioning was also witnessed by the State Coordinator NYSC Ogun State, Dr. Mrs Belinda Faniyi, also commended Moyosoluwa Kolawole for the magnanimous feat she achieved and her good initiative.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Melutia Ogunremi as well as the Director Social Welfare Services, Mrs Egbeolowo and officials of the State Inland Revenue Service were also present at the commissioning.

Earlier in the wake of COVID-19 Pandemic, Miss Moyosoluwa Kolawole had produced and donated 200 face masks to the State Government.
