As the end SARS protests continue across the country, the governor of the State of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola today Saturday, identified with the EndSARS protesters in Osogbo, the State capital.
While addressing the protesters and responding to their questions in a peaceful atmosphere, hoodlums reportedly came from nowhere and attacked his entourage.
His vehicles were damaged while the governor escaped unhurt.
Ismail Omipidan, chief press secretary to the Governor in a terse message obtained by The Precision NG noted:
“Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun, today, identified with the EndSARS protesters in Osogbo, the State capital. He was addressing them, responding to their questions in a convivial atmosphere until hoodlums came from nowhere and attacked us. But to God be the glory, Mr. Governor is safe.”
