Founder of Sotitobire Praising Chapel, Prophet Babatunde Alfa has been charged for conspiracy in the disappearance of the one-year-old missing boy in his church last year, Gold Kolawole.
This was the ruling of Justice Olusegun Odusola on the first count charge against the church founder.
Justice Odusola ruled that the prosecution proved the case against Prophet Alfa based on circumstantial evidence.
Meanwhile, the 7th defendant, Peter Anjorin was discharged and acquitted of destruction of evidence brought against him.
Alfa, alongside Six others are standing trial on a three count charge, including conspiracy to aid and abet kidnapping and destruction of evidence.
