Work has commenced on the proposed mini stadium at Ijare in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state.
The Precision NG reports that the project is being facilitated by Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji) who is a member of the House of Representatives, representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency.
Adewale Makinde, special adviser on New Media to Hon. Adefisoye in a statement on Wednesday said the mini stadium when completed would include football pitch, volleyball and lawn tennis courts, gyms and indoor games among others.
“The project will create a better chance for our sons and daughters who are lovers of sports to excel in their respective fields. It will also take our youths out of the street. The gyms will as well facilitate healthy living for its users,” the statement noted.
