The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ileoluji, Professor Emmanuel Fasakin will on the 20th of December 2020 bag the prestigious Transparency and Integrity Award by the Association of Independent Newspapers Publishers of Nigeria (AINPN), Ondo State Council.
The August event which will be held in Akure, the capital city of Ondo State is in recognition of Professor Emmanuel Fasakin’s effective, dutiful and energetic prowess as the pioneer Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ile-oluji.
Also to be honoured is one of the best civil servants and an administrator per excellence and highly honoured Ondo State NULGE President, Comrade Bola Taiwo with the Role Model in Public Service Award
This year’s lecture is titled “Critical Role of Community Newspapers in Promoting Good Governance: The Case of Ondo State” which ill be delivered by Dr. Gbenga Daramola of the prestigious Department of Mass Communication, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko. Ondo State while the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu will be the Special Guest of Honour and Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede, Vice Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife as Chairman of the occasion.
Other roll call of dignitaries expected at the event of the AINPN includes the Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Donald Ojogo, the Chief Medical Director of Skye Hospital Limited and a former Presidential Aspirant, Dr. Wilson Ikubese, member, Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ese Odo Constituency Chief Success Torhukerhijo Esq and the Deji of Akure, HRM Aladelusi Ogunlade with HRM, Oba Aliu Adegbehingbe as royal fathers of the day.
