An unknown lady has been allegedly raped to death by suspected Yahoo Boys in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Her body was allegedly dumped at a welder workshop at Ajipowo/Ogundipe area of Akure, TheNewsTrack reports.
Her body was found around noon at the welder’s workshop.
A source said the lady might have been killed for money ritual and the dead body dumped at the scene to disguise as if she was raped.
The source added that when the welder arrived at his shop, he met the lady’s lifeless body.
Subsequently, he alerted landlords and residents around the area, who reported to the police for necessary action and investigation.
In a related development, a house wife has been killed by unknown gunmen at Kajola area, off Oda Road Akure.
The woman is a wife to a top officer of the NURTW in the state capital.
