The Rector has received with rude shock the news of the sudden death of Barr. Oluwatosin Ogunbodede, the loving husband of our amiable Bursar, Mrs. Olufunke Ogunbodede, FCA.

The incident occurred in an auto-crash along Ilesa-Akure highway in the evening of Saturday 2nd January, 2021.

Until his death, Barr. Ogunbodede was the Chief of Protocol (COP) to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN .

The Rector along with the Registrar had immediately upon the receipt of the news visited the home of the deceased in Owo, on Sunday 3rd January, 2021 to commiserate with his wife, our Bursar, Mrs Ogunbodede.

The Rector conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji community to her, and encouraged her to look up to Jesus who is the giver of life, and the great Comforter.

The burial details would be made available as soon as the family in consultation with the State Government takes definite decision in that regard.

Members of Staff are encouraged to appropriately share this moment of grief with our amiable Bursar.

The Rector, Prof. E. A. Fasakin and the Management of FEDPOLEL deeply commiserate with the Ogunbodede family and pray for the repose of Barr. Oluwatosin Ogunbodede’s soul.
