Doctors in government hospitals in Ondo state have begun indefinite strike over unpaid salaries and poor condition of service.
The doctors include assocation of resident doctors, University of Medical of Sciences Teaching Hospital Ondo, Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria government hospitals and National Assocation of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners
Speaking in Akure, the spokesperson of the government doctors, Omolayo Olubosede, instructed members to withdraw their services from government hospitals from today.
The Doctors also rejected the 50 percent November salary paid to them in February by the state government.
