The convener of IBI GIGA AMBASSADORS CHIEF Alex Ajipe has congratulated the new Ọwá Ale of Ikare Akoko, His Royal Majesty Ọba Adeleke Adefemi Adegbite – Adedoyin on his ascension to the throne

Ajipe congratulated the monarch in a statement issued by his media Aide, Mr Solomon Adewoye and made available to The Precision NG in Akure on Tuesday.

Congratulating Oba Adedoyin on his ascension to the throne, Ajipe urged him to work harmoniously with his subjects to accelerate the development of the ancient town.

He admonished him to carry his people along when taking decisions that would affect their welfare, and to be “a father to all.”

He said, “It gladdens my heart that the expected spirited struggle for the occupation of the exalted stool of OWA ALE did not degenerate into uncontrollable controversies.

“A tree can never make a forest. There is the need for collective responsibility if we all desire to have a society of our dreams.

“I also appeal to the good people of Ikare Akoko to allow the spirit of oneness and sincerity of purpose in your support and cooperation with the Kabiyesi’’.

“I therefore call on Your Royal Highness to continue to carry your people along in the discharge of your responsibilities to the community.

“Your Royal Highness cannot do it alone, you need the support and cooperation of your people for peace to reign and for development to take place,”

“You should see Ikare Akoko as a micro community of the whole nation where when we have peace there, the entire country is at peace.

“I congratulate you sir on this glorious occasion. It is my fervent prayer that your reign will enhance peace, progress and development in Ikare Akoko in particular and the state at large.” Ajipe said.
