Remo Stars U19 Player, Oladimeji Dada was full of joy over making his debut during the 5-0 thrashing of Goddosky FC in the first game of the Nigeria National League (NNL) played at Remo Stars Stadium yesterday.
Oladimeji who tasted twenty minutes of action after he replaced Samuel Wisdom who got the fifth goal for the Sky Blue Stars said he was quite happy to have taken part in the game.
“I was very happy for taking part in that game yesterday, I appreciate the Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede for believing in my ability to feature in such a fantastic encounter. By introducing me into that game, he has given me more courage to play at any level of the competition now.”
“I have been doing my best with the U19 side and I believed my performance there gave me this opportunity to play alongside my senior teammates yesterday, I will continue to put more effort in upping my game and continue to excel whenever I am called upon again and I will also keep trying to register my name on the goalscorer’s sheet when next I am given another opportunity.”
“Hard work and focus are key, once you keep focus, you will put more efforts in whatever you do. I must appreciate my coach, Olumide Ajibolade for his time, efforts and words of encouragement.
