Over 200 market women would be benefiting from yet another empowerment programme by Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye tomorrow Saturday in Ilara, Ifedore local government area of the state.

Adefisoye known as Small Alhaji is representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency at the House of Representatives in Abuja.

The lawmaker in a terse statement on his Facebook profile on Friday said, the empowerment tagged “Small Alhaji Community Grant” would be the second, having done similar one at Idanre council area.

He said:

“While coming into office, I made the promise of disbursing this as a medium of relief from the stress most traders do face to get capital for their businesses.

“However, the Covid-19 pandemic affected the process last year which in turn had adverse effect on these class of individuals.

“This will be the second phase as it’s going to cut across the four walls of Ifedore local government.

“During this downward curve in the economy, it is expedient for us to leverage on all possible means to keep sustaining the well-being of all individuals as we continue to #developwithsmallalhaji,” Adefisoye noted.

Venue of the empowerment is Igbelowowa Awosika Mutipurpose hall, along UBA, Ilara Mokin at 10:30am.
