The kidnappers, The Precision NG gathered used one of the students mobile phone to make the video and then uploaded it on the student’s personal Facebook account.

The students were kidnapped on Thursday night at the federal school of forestry mechanisation located in Afaka, Kaduna state.

180 of them were reportedly rescued by a combined team of security operatives on Friday, while 39 had been taken away.

Some parents of the 39 remaining students, told newsmen that the kidnappers demanded N500million.

The Precision NG reports that kidnappings for ransom particularly students of high institutions have become the new normal in Nigeria.

Just recently, President Muhammadu Buhari assured Nigerians that mass kidnapping of students would be a thing of the past, after about 300 students were kidnapped by terrorists in a government girls school in Zamfara state.
