Why Graduates Of AAUA Must Collect Their Certificates Before May 1

Graduates of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, (AAUA) have been advised to collect their certificates before May 1 or risk paying N20,000 before collection.

Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa, the acting Registrar of the varsity in a statement made available to The Precision NG noted that the University Management at its meeting of Monday, February 1, 2021 approved the new directive.

The directives are stated below:

  1. graduates of the University between 2003 to 2019 who were yet to collect their certificates for various academic programmes of the University should do so before May 1, 2021;
  2. any graduate in the above category who fails to claim his/her certificate before the set date would pay an applicable penalty of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) per annum, effective from May 1, 2021.

“The affected graduates are advised to visit the Office of the Registrar on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays to collect their certificates,” the statement read.
