Prof. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, (FEDPOLEL), Ondo State has felicitated with the Christian Community, Staff and Students of the Institution and Christian faithful in Nigeria and around the globe on this auspicious occasion of the commemoration of Easter.
Fasakin in a statement personally signed by him, said he rejoiced and remained thankful to God Almighty for witnessing another Easter Celebration in spite of the Covid-19 pandemic and rising insecurity threats in the Country.
“Despite obvious challenges, God has been very faithful to the FEDPOLEL family and its entirety as the Institution has continued to wax stronger in its pursuit of academic excellence and in advancement of technical and vocational education to its immediate environment and beyond.
“In commemoration of this festivity, I urge all and sundry to imbibe and live the values of humility, discipline and perseverance as demonstrated by Jesus Christ during His stay on earth.
“Let Christian faithful rekindle their faith in Christ who overcame persecution, sufferings and displayed endurance and steadfastness.
“Moreover, let’s adhere strictly to Covid-19 safety protocols by maintaining social distancing and to celebrate this occasion in meekness and simplicity,” he said.
