The National Orientation Agency (NOA) Ondo State Directorate has reemphasized the need for peace and unity during this year Easter celebration and urged Christians to demonstrate the attributes of Jesus Christ which is epitomized in love for mankind, forgiveness and discipline.

In a message made available to pressmen in Akure by the Acting Director of Ondo NOA, Mrs Olawumi Famuyiwa, she advised Nigerians to exemplify in their dealing with fellow citizens the sacrificial love of Jesus Christ which the Easter period stands for.

The NOA boss urged the people to emulate Christ by tolerating and showing love, kindness and render help to one another during the Easter season and after.

She said the Easter period calls for sober reflection on God’s love for mankind and how this can reflect in one’s relationship with fellow human beings to make the world a better place.

”’As we celebrate another Easter we should be reminded that it’s a season of love and sacrifice. The life, death and resurrection of Christ connotes a new hope, order and aspirations of Christian faith which epitomizes love, peace, sacrifice and perseverance.

Mrs Famuyiwa urged Nigerians to ignore every attempt to divide the country along religious lines saying it’s not in the best interest of the peace, growth and development of our dear Nation.
