A lecturer in the Earth Sciences department of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, (AAUA) on Tuesday lost consciousness while in his car and died.
He is Dr Olatunde Adegbuyi.
The lecturer according to a top management source who spoke with The Precision NG, has retired but still on contract engagement with the University.
His death happened within Akungba town and not the premises of the institution contrary to media report, the source said.
