Shawwal crescent on Tuesday evening was not sighted in Nigeria.
Simwal Usman Jibril, a member of the Moon sighting committee in Nigeria has disclosed.
“An official statement from the Sultanate will be released shortly,” he tweeted on Twitter.
The implication is that tomorrow Wednesday, 12th May, Ramadan will be 30, hence Muslims are expected to fast.
Thursday will then be the day of celebration.
