The House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ile-Oluji/ Oke-Igbo local government in 2019 general election Hon. Kehinde Akindele, also known as “Oga’s me” has met with stakeholders at the party Secretariat in Ile-Oluji.
Akindele who is also from Ile-Oluji used the opportunity of the meeting to declare his ambition to represent his constituency at the federal level in 2023.
He told the excos and party leaders that his intention to represent his constituency at the federal level, is to correct bad representation that has dashed the hope of the people.
Akindele also maintained that Ile-oluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo federal constituency have been shortchanged in terms of dividends of democracy at the national level due to bad representation.
Akindele pleaded to the excos and delegates not to miss the good and quality representation which he represent, by choosing the wrong candidate to represent the constituency.
He was received with warm welcome by prominent excos and party leaders of our great party PDP in Ile-oluji/Okeigbo local government
Some of the party excos and leaders that present at the meeting were the Chairman of the PDP in Ilé-oluji/Okeigbo local government, Hon. Elvis Tola Akinfiresoye aka Abela; Mr Akin Oyewole SA to Sen. Nicholas Tofowomo and Chief Ibidunke (Former PDP chairman of the council).
Others are Dr Tunde Ogunsusi; Chief Akinbobola (Ogbokegbodo); Chief Omoboyowa; Hon. Adeniyi Tomide and all the ward women leaders, Youth leader, and all ward chairmen.
Akinfiresoye while addressing the excos and the numerous supporters of Hon. Kehinde Akindele preached unity among the members of the party ahead of 2023 general election.
He also maintained that there is need to foster unity in the party, which will pave way for the victory of its various candidates in different capacities ahead of 2023 general elections.
Dr. Tunde Ogunsusi also advised the members of the party to allow peace to reign.
He also assured that there will be free, fair and transparent primary elections, while maintaining that there will be no automatic ticket for any aspirant to become the party’s flagbearer. (OGA’S ME MEDIA TEAM)
