Bukunmi Ayodele, another young lady arrested in October, 2020 during the #EndSARS saga has been granted bail by the High Court sitting in Akure.

The Precision NG gathered that she was arrested alongside Kemisola Ogunniyi, the young lady who gave birth in prison and was granted bail last month to give her baby a befitting naming ceremony, outside the correctional facility.

Confirming the bail granted Bukunmi, Tope Tomekun, counsel to the defendant said the girl will be reuniting with her family since October 22, 2020 when she was arrested for being a participant during the #ENDSARS protest.

“She has spent approximately 9 months in prison, in this wicked world, wherever live. She was just starting life when Nigeria sent her to prison. She suffered miscarriage of three-month pregnancy in prison. She did not have access to a doctor or even a nurse.

“She would only see a doctor after leaving the prison. She undeniably fainted twice in prison after miscarriage without any medical attention. This is how Nigeria has been destroying it’s finest,” Tomekun alleged.

Kemisola and Bukunmi (now granted bail) had been at the female prison, Surulere, Ondo town since their arrest in October, 2020.
