Prof. Olugbenga Ige of the Plant Science and Biotechnology Department, Adekunle Ajasin University has been appointed as substantive Vice Chancellor of the state owned institution.
The Precision NG understands the council of the university has approved his appointment.
Chairman of the council, Tunji Abayomi confirmed to The Precision NG that “Ige is the new VC.”
Prof. Ige has been in acting capacity since January 2019.
