The Chairman, Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association, Ondo State Chapter, Chief Kemini Doubra has felicitated with Muslims members of the Association as they join other faithfuls in Nigeria and across the world to celebrate another Eid-el-Kabir.
Doubra therefore urged them to always allow their lives to reflect charity and selflessness which are the core values and lessons epitomised by the season.
In a goodwill message signed by the Association’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Omoniyi Akinrogunde ‘Romeo’, Chief Doubra admonished the faithfuls and Nigerians at large to always embrace the spirit of love for fellows humans and uphold friendliness, religious tolerance and total obedience to God which were exemplified by Prophet Ibraheem who was prepared to sacrifice his son as instructed by Almighty Allah.
Doubra urged the Muslim faithfuls to continue praying for the peace of Nigeria in a time like this. According to him, ”as our Muslim brothers, sisters and friends celebrate this year’s Eid-el- Kabir, I admonish them to continue to live in peace and harmony with themselves and adherents of other faiths.
Not forgetting to always remember in their prayers the growth of our association, prosperity of our state (Ondo) and sustainable peace in our dear country Nigeria, especially in a critical moment of national insecurity and global corona virus pandemic like this.
The Alumni Chairman further reiterated that the Association under his leadership will remain committed to an improved welfarism of its members as it pursue its ”TAC” mantra of Transparency, Accountability and Commitment.
