The Ondo State Directorate of National Orientation Agency (NOA) has called on the good people of Ondo State to observe the August Edition of monthly Environmental Sanitation.
The exercise is slated for Saturday, 28th August 2021, between 7am and 10am.
In a press statement issued from the office of state Director of NOA on Friday, Mrs Layo Adefolalu made available to newsmen through the Agency Media officer, Mr. Ralph Oguntibeju, NOA urged members of the public to participate in the exercise.
NOA added that the exercise is with full restriction of movements.
Mrs Adefolalu noted that the importance of a healthy environment cannot be over emphasized as it is key to human hygiene.
“It is imperative for all to ensure cleaning and clearing of all dirt surrounding every home including drainages, with proper disposal of waste materials to appropriate places.”
The NOA boss therefore called on WAI Brigade officers across the state as well as NOA COMOs to closely monitor the exercise and work with all relevant stakeholders in ensuring the success of the exercise.
She warned members of the public to desist from any act that can jeopardize the exercise as anybody caught during the period of the sanitation shall face full wrath of the law.
