What Ikare Chief Imam Said After The Reopening Of Central Mosque By Akeredolu

The Ikare Central mosque has been reopened after the intervention of Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu on the crisis rocking the Muslim community.

The mosque had been closed for Friday prayers in the last three weeks.

On reopening on Friday, August 20, the Jummah prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Ikare Akoko, Sheik Muhammad Abbas Abubakar. In attendance are all Imam Ratibis in Ikare and Muslim faithful.

Imam Abbas prayed for peace in Ikare Akoko, the Olukare of Ikare, Oba Akadiri Momoh and Ondo State in general.

In his Sermon, Imam Abass Abubakri called on Muslims leaders to always follow the commandments of Allah and the teachings of the Prophet.

He emphasized that following Allah and his prophet in all our dealings will always foster peace within the Muslim Ummah.
