Professor Omolola Irinoye of the Department of Nursing Science, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile Ife will on Tuesday, September 14 delivered the 355th inaugural lecture of the institution.
The title of Prof. Irinoye’s lecture is “Sexual and Reproductive Health Matters – Subjectivity and Objectivity in the Community-Public Health Nurse Practitioners’ Experiences.”
According to the invitation card of the event, the inaugural lecture which is to be Chaired by the institution’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, holds at 5pm at the Oduduwa Hall of the University while it would be live streamed via https://bit.ly/Irinoye.
Irinoye, a Professor of Community-Public Health Nursing joined the services of OAU in 1991.
Her research areas are in Sexual and Reproductive Health; Adolescents and Women’s Health; Gender and Health as well as Technology in Education and Health Care.
According to her Research Gate and Google Scholar profiles, she has published over 70 academic publications and had been cited over 460 times.
Prof. Irinoye had her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Ibadan; her two Master’s Degrees at OAU and University of York, UK; while her Doctor of Philosophy was obtained from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa.
