The former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega will be speaking at the public lecture of Achievers University Owo on Tuesday, November 23.
Jega will be speaking on the topic, “Towards Stabilizing the Nigerian Federation.”
The Chairman, Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the event, Dr Ola Olateju in a statement made available to The Precision NG on Monday, noted that the public lecture is being organized by the institution’s College of Social and Management Sciences (COSMAS).
While adding that the lecture is the first of its kind for the College, Olateju said the event will take place at the Trinity hall of the University by 1pm.
Expected dignitaries at the event include the Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN; the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin, Ogunoye III among others.
The event will be Chaired by a council member of Achievers University, Prof. Ademola Popoola.
