The Muslim Community Of Oyo State has condoled with Aare Musulumi Of Yorubaland, Alhaji Dawud Akinola on the death of his wife, Halimat.
This is contained in a statement by the Chairman of the Muslim Community, Alhaji Kunle Sanni and his Secretary, Alhaji Murisiku Siyanbade.
“From Allah we came and unto Him is our return.
“We received with shock, news of the demise of your dear wife, Alhaja Halimat Akinola, whose remains were committed to mother earth on Tuesday 27th October, 2021.
“This is to commiserate with the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Makanjuola Akinola and pray to Almighty Allah to console him and his entire family.
“We hereby pray that Allah (swt) repose her soul in the best Barzakh and ultimately grant her Jannatul-Firdaws, Aamin,” the statement read.
