Truck drivers have blocked the ever busy Ikare-Owo highway, Precision Online Newspaper can report.
The drivers blocked the highway after a police officer shot at the tyre of one of the long trucks plying the road at Oba Akoko part of the highway.
A resident, Mr Aliu Tella who confirmed the development said the road has been blocked in the last Two hours.
“DPO and Area commander are already here, they are discussing how to pay them for the tyre but the people said they need the tyre and the money,” he said.
The drivers are demanding a new tyre put at a cost of N260,000 from the police.
