The FBI has identified the hostage-taker at Texas synagogue as British citizen by the name Malik Faisal Akram.
The 44 year old lone suspect died during the incident which lasted for 11 hours.
The Gunman had held four persons hostage at Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Texas on Saturday, demanding the release of his sister, who is a convicted terrorist being incarcerated at Carswell Air Force Base.
Report says an elite FBI hostage rescue team breached the synagogue in Colleyville, Texas, Saturday night, safely recovering three remaining captives after one had been released by the Gunman before being killed.
