Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of JAMB, will on Sunday, March 6, Chairman the event to celebrate the promotion of Dr Mrs Morufat Balogun to the position of a Professor.
The event will take place at the University of Ibadan central Mosque event hall. Time is 11:00am.
Prof. Balogun was on January 19, 2022, confirmed by the senate of the University of Ibadan, as a Professor of Developmental Genetics with sub speciality in Tissue Culture.
She is the wife of astute journalist and head of media unit at the Nigerian In Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Alhaji AbdurRahman Balogun.
The event themed reception/celebration of the Girl-child Education will feature two speakers.
They are Prof. Afis Oladosu of the University of Ibadan who will be speaking on the topic, “Which of His favours can we deny?” While Dr. Khadijat Olaniyan Shobowale of the Lagos State University, will be speaking on the topic, “Girl-child Education: Are Muslims Complacent?
Prof. Hamdalat Bolanle Olaniyan, wife of the Deputy Governor of Oyo State; Hon. Abike Dabiri Erewa, Chairman/CEO, NIDCOM and Engr. Abdulkabir A. Aliu, MD/CEO, Matrix Energy LTD are special guests of honour at the event.
