An aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Olufemi Kastin Ikuegbuwa popularly called KAKA, has declared his intention to contest for House of Assembly seat of Ilaje Constituency 2.
Kaka during his declaration appealed to leaders and delegates of the party to support him in his aspiration to represent the constituency at the Ondo State House of Assembly election in 2023.
Kaka who declared at his ward, called on the leadership of the party and the people that it is time to change the narratives of the people for good and chart a new sustainable course of development in the constituency.
Kaka said he has developed kin interest in politics right from childhood and has been compassionate about the plight and yearnings of his people living in abject poverty with plenty resources been mismanaged by those representing the people in the past.
He assured the party delegates of his readiness to give the constituency a quality representation with selfless service for development of humanity. Kaka said he’s very passionate about empowering the less privilege most especially women, youths and the vulnerable who are willing to make meaningful living by providing enabling environment through empowerment programmes and productive engagement.
“When I get to House of Assembly by the grace of God I will make it a point of duty to create a platform through legislative lobby to provide an enabling environment where our people can learn a trade or vocational training with constant provision of incentives to mobilize the teeming jobless youth and encourage them to be productively engaged and by the time I’m through with one term in assembly with my performance, you will send me to House of Representatives”.
Kaka, a business Mogul in hospitality management, fashion and landed properties has traveled far and wide outside the shores of the country before delving into partisan politics. He hails from Abe Alala community in Ilaje local government area of Ondo State.
