House Of Reps: Banker, Afolami Olabomi Joins Race In Akoko North

An Ikare Akoko-born trained Banker,
Pastor Abdul Afolami Olabomi has joined the 2023 House of Representatives race on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Olabomi wants to represent Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.

Olabomi who obtained the Expression of Interest and Nomination form from the PDP Secretariat in Akure on Tuesday, expressed optimism that the people of Akoko North, would experience good governance if elected at the primaries and general election.

Olabomi successfully practiced in the banking profession for over a decade both in Nigeria and in New York, United States. He is a graduate of Community Health and Human Services from Empire State College, New York.

“I’m a servant leader, experienced and driven-human services professional with over fifteen years of experience providing clients with optimal assistance, housing services, social services, entitlement and benefits, health care services and helping to improve outcomes in people lives.

“I also accepted the call of God to preach the gospel in 2009. My vision is to encourage and lead men and women with broken heart to turn to God.

“I’m currently on a mission to serve and give back to my community as a Member of House of Representatives in Akoko North East and North West constituencies under the People’s Democratic Party. I’m a man with certain leadership styles for uncertain times,” Olabomi said.
