The Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State, Mr. Donald Ojogo has resigned.
Mr Ojogo, it was gathered has an aspiration to contest for the House of Representatives seat, in Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency.
His resignation takes effect from Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Ojogo, in his resignation letter, appreciated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Aketi, SAN, for the support so far, while assuring that their journey of political bonding has just begun.
The resignation of the commissioner comes on the heels of a circular letter signed by the secretary to the state government, Mrs. Oladunni Odu, asking all Political office holders, who are desirous of contesting in the upcoming primary elections to resign, on or before Thursday 14th April.
More political appointees in the State are expected to resign in the coming days.
