Akoko South Progressive Youths is an assembly of Youths with a clear and unambiguous assignment of ensuring and seeing to the fact that Akoko is not lagging behind in the comity of Progressive Nations. This purpose has required that we observe, identify, and partner with individuals, social groups and political office holders who share in this vision of ensuring that Akoko of our dream becomes a reality within the shortest time possible
In the case of Hon. Adejoro Adeogun, we have taken our time to peruse and vet his activities since his assumption of office as the member house of representative, representing Akoko Southeast and Southwest Federal constituency. Among his convincing achievements were; employment of our able Youths in their numbers into various top government agencies like; Department of state service (SSS), Nigerian Police force (NPF), Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Army, National Intelligent Agency, Nigerian Port Authority, Federal Medical Centres and lot more, all of which we have verified to be true, and verifiable to anyone in doubt. For us, this is a huge investment on human capital development, and this form part of our purpose of existence as a group.
Other than scoring 100% in human capital development, we have taken time to identify some of his physical projects, which we found to include; Construction of Omioko bridge in Ikese. Construction of obaju road in Oba. The ongoing construction of Iwaro-Ayegunle road. Construction of bridge and box culvert in Ibaka. Construction of Erefu road, Oba. Provisions of solar powered boreholes at various communities of our federal constituency. Construction of well furnished and equipped school in Supare. Construction of palace road bridge in Akungba. Provision of transformer at Etiose, Isua. Provisions of desks and chairs for both students and staffs in selected secondary schools of the federal constituency among others too numerous to mention.
We are equally not unaware of his empowerment cum scholarship programs. 400 students are on free tuition fees scholarship in Upland College of Education as we speak, courtesy of Hon. Adeogun, and we were intimated that the scholarship covers their three years of stay in the school. Scholarship for 200 students of tertiary institutions. Facilitation of grants, ranging from millions to hundreds of thousands for constituents. With the verifiable facts at our disposal, these and many more that are too many to mention were the verifiable achievements of Hon. Ade Adeogun in the lower chamber for the past three years.
For us, a man who has done this much has not only impressed us individually, but has also shown that the purpose of our existence as a group is achievable, when we have selfless leaders at the helm of affairs in Akoko land. It’s on this fundamental basis that we identify with Hon. Ade Adeogun on the occasion of his birthday, while admitting without doubt, that his birth is a blessing to Akoko land, Ondo State, and Nigeria at large. We wish him well in every of his adventure, and we are assuring him that he’ll continue to have our support, especially when his performances continually remain in line with our core values.
