President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with Presidential aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, at the State House, Abuja.
Buhari, who returned from an ECOWAS extraordinary summit hours ago, will be meeting at least 23 recognised Presidential hopefuls.
With barely 48 hours until the Presidential Primary elections of the APC, the meeting would, among other things, centre on the choice of a consensus candidate.
While submitting the result of the Screening Committee, APC former National Chairman, Dr John Oyegun, on Friday told the party’s current Chairman, Adamu Abdullahi that 99 percent of the aspirants are in support of consensus.
Oyegun, however, said one of the 23 aspirants oppose a consensus arrangement that won’t favour him, adding that an elective primaries shouldn’t worry the party.
