A truck crash along the Akure-Ilesa expressway has caused gridlock along the Akure-Ilara-Igbaraoke axis of the road.
An Ondo resident plying the road, Mr Olubunmi Akinsemola posted about the development.
He wrote on his Facebook profile:
“If you are planning to travel through Ilara Mokin- Igbara Oke axis, think twice. The row of 18-wheelers especially on the Akure side can’t be less than 3km due to a fallen truck.”
Pictures shared by Mr Akinsemola from the scene of the crash indicated that rescue operation is already underway to ensure that the truck is removed.
