The former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN), has been named the Balogun Ijo of the Cathedral Church of St David Anglican Communion, Ijomu in Akure, the state capital.
It was gathered that Jegede, has accepted the title bestowed on him by the Diocesan and Archbishop Of Ondo Ecclesiastical Province.
Jegede will be installed officially as the Balogun of the church on Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Expected to grace the Chieftaincy installation are the Vice Presidential Candidate of PDP, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, the National Secretary of PDP, Senator Anyanwu amongst other bigwigs in both political and legal profession.
