Hon. Abiola Peter Makinde, member, House of Representatives, representing Ondo East/West Federal Constituency has bagged a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Management at Igbinedion University, Okada.
After successful thesis defence, Hon Makinde is now set to be awarded his PhD degree which he described as a milestone achievement for him.
Speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Alli Moshood, Hon Makinde said, “I appreciate the Almighty for the successful completion of this degree. I appreciate my wife, Dr Rhoda Makinde, a PhD holder herself, for her steadfastness and unrelenting support in continually pushing me to achieve this even on days that I wasn’t fully motivated.
“I also appreciate my friends and Honorable colleagues at the National Assembly as well as my supporters and constituents. May we all be celebrated.”
As announced by the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye, PhD, FAS, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate and Management of Igbinedion University Okada through the Registar, the convocation for the 20th set of graduands is slated for Friday, 11th November and Saturday, 12th November, 2022.
The events hold at the University Main Auditorium, Main Campus, Okada by 11am.
