Crest 106.1 FM, Akure has appointed Mr Olaide Abioye as the new Head of Programmes.
Abioye’s appointment followed the recent resignation of the Head of Programmes (HOP), Mrs Omolola Akinbo from the services of the station.
While announcing the appointment of the new HOP, the station’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Mr Adeolu Gboyega said though it was extremely painful to let Omolola Akinbo go at this time most especially due to the bond shared with all members of staff and her immense contributions to the station, her decision to quit active broadcasting at the end of the year 2022 must be respected.
The COO who charged Mr Abioye to build on the very solid foundation laid by his predecessor admonished all members of staff to cooperate with the new programmes head.
