NASRDA Promotes Dr Felix Ale To Substantive Director

Following the approval of the Honourable Minister, Science Technology and Innovation, the Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency, NASRDA, Dr. Halilu Shaba has approved the promotion of a Seasoned Senior Journalists, Dr Felix Ale as substantive Director, Media and Corporate Communications of the Agency.

In a letter signed by the Ag Director Administration and Finance, Hajiya Bilkisu Ahmed, the promotion which takes effect from 1st January, 2022 was made in recognition of Ale’s loyalty, hard work, devotion to duty and sense of responsibility.

In light of the above, the NASRDA Spokesman is now the substantive Director, Media and Corporate Communications of the Space Agency.

The entire management and staff of the Agency congratulate him on this great milestone and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

Dr Felix Ale, is a merit award winner of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), and has over the years defined himself as a strong, indefatigable and committed communication strategist, and indeed a worthy ambassador of the Union.

He is today one of the leading Media practitioners and science writers in Africa and belongs to various local and international professional bodies and associations across the globe. Among which are the world’s largest organisation for public relations – Public Relations Society of America, – World Federation of Science Writers Association, Science Writers and Communicators of Canada, and Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals.

Dr. Felix Ale is currently a member of the Governing Council of School of Communication, Goenka University in India.

He is also an accredited member International Federation of Journalists, American Science Writers Association, American Society of Environmental Journalists, and West African Journalists Association.

It would be recalled that Dr Ale recently instituted annual Professional Media Merit Award to honour Best Journalists in Ondo State and on 2nd December, 2022, some journalists benefitted from the honour during the 2022 Press Week Celebration held in Akure and organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
