In continuation of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign, the train arrived Akoko Northeast and Akoko Northwest Local Government Areas, on Monday, with pomp and pageantry.
At Irun-Akoko where more than 200 APC members under the leadership of Rotimi Olarenwaju, aka “Agba”, joined the PDP.
Hon. Fatai Adams, PDP Chairman Ondo State, welcomed the new members with assurance that, the PDP will restore hope of Nigerians in our country.
Fatai expressed utmost displeasure at the level of damage brought to the country by APC insisting that the party must be completely swept out of government from top to bottom on February 25 and March 11, 2023 general elections.
“APC has brought unimaginable damage to the country. It brought woes, misery, diseases, hunger, starvation and death. APC killed businesses and people began to lose hope of life thereby considering suicide as an option. Those who had the opportunity to leave, moved out of the country and they are still jetting out of the country in droves. The ties of cohesion have been broken and every region is now agitating for separation” The State Chairman noted. He however encouraged them to be of good cheers as PDP is coming to reunite the country and cement its broken walls
The Ondo State DirectorAtiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Organization, Ondo State, Senator Boluwaji Kunlere drew the attention of the good people of Akoko to the PDP era when so many Akoko sons and daughters occupied juicy positions in government.
Sen Kunlere said: “Barr. Adetokunbo Kayode was a Minister in the Ministries of Labour, then Defence and later Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Dr Olu Agunloye was a Minister of Defence (Navy) the Federal Civil Service Commissioner was given to Hon. Victor Olabimtan. I can continue to mention them like that. They occupied these positions during PDP government.
Tell me who and who occupy such offices under the ill-conceived APC? The story is an ugly one and nothing to write home about.”
