The Executive Chairman of Ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State, Engr Alex Oladimeji, on Tuesday laid the foundation for the construction of the Local Government Legislative Building.

Oladimeji, at the foundation laying urged political stakeholders across the local government to work and complement party structure rather than compete one with another.
He gave the charge at the council secretariat Igbara-Oke the headquarters of Ifedore Local Government.
According to him, having a legislative building at this time is a right step in the right direction, to give room for proper coordination in order to support the central goal of the present administration in the Council.
Oladimeji disclosed that a working environment became necessary for the lawmakers to ensure the synergy of operation between the three arms of government (executive, legislative and judiciary) in the Council .
While appreciating the Council lawmakers for their cooperation towards the success of his administration, Oladimeji urged them to work independently and in harmony
He stressed that the essence of the three arms of government working together is to harmonize all efforts towards achieving the overall goal.
He also urged the legislators and political stakeholders across the area to work and complement party structure rather than compete one with another.
The Chairman who attributed his success to the Ondo State Governor, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the state party chairman, Engr Ade Adetimehin, used the occasion to canvass for APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the party.
Oladimeji tasked them to mobilise support for APC candidates in Ondo central. The likes of Adeniyi Adegbonmire for Senate, Tajudeen Adefisoye for House of Representatives and Tope Komolafe for House of Assembly in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
He then cautioned the political stakeholders and Community Members against playing politics of exclusion with the present administration at this crucial time, when it is the turn of the Yorubas in the APC to produce Nigeria’s president.
Earlier, the APC Party Chairman in Ifedore, Mr Fawoyi Tunde at the foundation laying ceremony, described Engr Oladimeji as a politician with a great vision, experience, striking intelligence, networks of vital contacts, sense of equity, justice and fairness, with high regard for the rule of law.
Fawoyi who appreciated Oladimeji’s administration for starting the construction of the legislative building at this time, urged members of the public to join the APC to work hand in hand, in the journey to build the country of their dream.
According to him a new and better Nigeria is possible through cooperation and partnership.
