Basorun Ifedayo Adedipe, SAN, candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Ondo Central Senatorial District in the forthcoming general elections, has assured Nigerians that the country will reclaim its lost glory when PDP takes over power this year.
Adedipe dropped the hint while answering questions on a radio program in Akure, monitored by our correspondent on Sunday.
He lamented Nigeria’s high debt profile which he said “is unprecedented and was not used for projects that could benefit the common people or rebuild the country’s oil refineries.”
According to him, “Nigeria was well governed during the PDP-led government and things have gone south in the last 7years of the present administration. I, therefore, urge our people in Ondo Central Senatorial District to vote all the PDP candidates from House of Assembly to the Senate. So our state can return to a place of pride that it used to be under PDP”.
The PDP Senate candidate encouraged the electorates not to be intimidated on election day as he said security agents will be on ground to ensure the exercise is hitch-free.
