The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday morning declared former Lagos State Governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the presidential election in Nigeria.
Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of INEC, who announced the results of the election held on Saturday, February 25, disclosed that Tinubu, of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled 8,794,726 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
