The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejoiced with Muslims of the State on the occasion of Eid-il-fitr.
This is contained in a statement issued by Alex Kalejaye, Publicity Secretary of Ondo State APC.
The statement noted that the State Chairman, Ade Adetimehin, commended them for the sacrifices, and prayers for the State, and the country during the fasting period.
Adetimehin urged them to continue to pray for the unity, peace, and development of Nigeria.
The state chapter prays Allah to accept their fast and bless them the more. It views fasting as a spiritual exercise with unfathomable gains.
“The party deeply appreciates our Muslim brothers’ and sisters’ contributions and organization before, during, and after the last general elections. We urge you to support a peaceful and smooth transition in the political arena”, Adetimehin added.
The party chieftain contends that the prosperity of a country and it’s inhabitants are of paramount importance to various religions, and calls on every Nigerian, irrespective of religious inclinations, to put national interest above personal issues.
He further prays Allah to grant “our Muslim members and sympathisers” the privilege to celebrate many Eid-al-Fitr in good health.
